Things seemed to be going very well for the writing for a bit there, and then NaNoWriMo hit. You know what peeves me about that the most? I have a catalogue of works that I’m burning to get published, but every time the global call for authors rolls around I hit this solid cliff of writer’s block.
If I were a betting man still I’d put money on next year’s failure to produce, but then I’d probably do it just because the Devil said so. Quickly, to debunk those that might think I think for a moment that Satan may actually guide my actions, you should be referred to my views on Luck for the more apt reference, followed immediately by my views on religion for a complete lack of faith [ha, puns!] in the concept that the Devil could actually control me.
That all aside, insomnia sucks. The last time I remember sleeping soundly it was 2008. Ah well. There’ll be plenty of time for sleep when my heathen ass is burning in hell for not believing in the Devil I suppose. That or all the soul collecting I do. Ironic, neh?

NaNoWriMo only just started, and I am somehow already almost 100% behind! What gives? A bout of insomnia might just help with that, actually.
One would think, but no, not so much. I’ve been considering moving away from novel-style writing for the month and am hoping to spurn some sort of group project for an ensemble story. I get the feeling that may flow a bit better right now.
