Beam Splitter

Part of the systems developed by Hotchner Technologies was a way to split and then refocus a concussive beam through the same actuating lenses. By using a series of rotating mirror chambers entered into a weapon, the beam can be split and redirected forward at the same time. By splitting the beam and improving its focus, it becomes easy to increase the damage output by multiplying the rays. A weapon with a beam splitter can use the Power Blast feat to modify an attack roll.

If they already possess the Power Blast feat, once per encounter the bonus damage increases to +2 for every -1 applied to the attack roll.
