Emergency Reserve FieldSudden depressurization is a risk when dealing with interstellar travel, and the threat has been a constant fear since the Soyuz 11 Mission. It is because of this fear that the Emergency Reserve Field was developed. Setting aside a portion of the power available to the emitter, unlike typical shield units, an Emergency Reserve Field remains inactive until it reads a sudden change in local pressure, at which point it creates an ionized field that keeps atmosphere trapped inside of it. The field is exceptionally strong to its purpose, and cannot be ruptured, but it does not provide SR for any other purpose. The field will remain active until it registers a local equalized pressure, but will only allow the wearer to survive for 1 hour in the vacuum of space. Cost: 150Cr
