Assisted Climbing SystemsOccasionally terrain can be perilous, and flight systems can be too loud or otherwise impractical, leaving only the ability to climb. Managed in a number of ways; retractable claws, textured grips, magnetic pads, specialized joints or other manipulators, they are designed to grip even the most delicate or sheer of surfaces. Assisted Climbing Systems grant a Climb Speed equal to half the Base Speed, and allow the user to re-roll failed Climb checks ( keep the better result; this does not function as Familiarity, it only allows for a re-roll ). They may also Take 10 on Climb checks even while rushed, or threatened. Costs ( per appendage )

Special: An Assisted Climbing System must be purchased for at least two appendages that can be used to interact with objects. Frameworks that only have mounted weapons in place of their appendages cannot make use of this equipment. Extra appendages with Assisted Climbing Systems allow for Familiarity with Climb checks, as well as all other bonuses.
