Insulated Systems

Frameworks are a walking series of electronic systems and devices, and so targeted attacks such as electromagnetic pulses can wreak havoc on their operation. Installing short-burst power capacitors and smart-switch fuse systems during sudden energy spikes, and providing additional shielding for sensitive systems with insulated wiring and components. As soon as the Centralized Activation System detects power fluctuations, it activates the lockdown protections, providing DR:10/Ion Damage. Whether lockdown protections are active or not, the Insulated Systems also grants a +2 Equipment Bonus to Fortitude Defense.
