The Reliquary | RSC / Magnetized Pads

One of the first uses of Frameworks was to assist with labor tasks in Extravehicular Activities ( 'EVAs' ), and in order to properly accomplish this task they needed to be able to maintain footing. By wiring the 'soles' of the foot with electromagnetic plating and assisted texturing, Frameworks are able to cling to a ship's external hull, even while the ship is moving at high speeds. These plates can also be used for station activity, or traversing any other metal surface in which gravity-- or the lack thereof --may provide difficulty remaining stabilized. When used in Zero-Gravity Environments, Magnetized Pads prevent the pilot from suffering the penalties to attack rolls or skill checks normally associated with Zero-Gravity, and provide a +5 Equipment Bonus to Fortitude Defense against Space Sickness.

Special: Frameworks with Quadrupedal Movement disregard the "per appendage" Equipment Slot requirement, but add +50% to the Base Cost of the equipment.
