Sealed FrameMany Frameworks require operating in hazardous environments, meaning the ability to seal off the pilot from external atmospheric conditions. Airtight locks and sealing gaskets allow the cockpit and any other internal space to be fully enclosed and pressurized, protecting the internal components from hostile environments including breathable poisons, toxic or corrosive atmosphere, submersion in liquid, and the vacuum of space. Sealed Frames also include a basic air scrubbing system capable of maintaining 24 hours of life support. Improving the basic seals with advanced filters, oxygen systems, sanitation and climate control can change a simple Framework to a far more permanent support station. Installing Full Life Support also protects the pilot from the dangers of extreme temperature ( hot or cold ), and improves the available life support to 7 days. A Sealed Frame also provides a +4 Equipment Bonus to the occupants Fortitude Defense. Base Costs:
