Huge Framework

Sizable machines for specialized tasks, Huge Frameworks are typically made to haul large equipment, or to be truly frightening mobile weapons platforms. These hardware systems are rarely graceful systems, intended more for uses that can take advantage of their impressive mechanical power and stability. They are also the largest commercially available Framework on the market.

By default, Huge Frameworks add a +16 Equipment Bonus to the pilot's Strength Attribute, but impose a -2 Size Penalty to Attack Rolls and Reflex Defense. Without specialized materials or defensive systems, Huge Frameworks have 120 Structural Hit Points. These are subtracted from prior to any damage dealt to a Framework's pilot unless the attacker explicitly targets the pilot. Frameworks offer Soft Cover to their pilots, but not Concealment without specialized cockpit equipment. Huge Frameworks are also far easier to spot than an individual on foot, and have a -10 Equipment Penalty to Stealth checks.

Huge Frameworks can be used to make a slam attack that deals 2d6 damage plus the increased Strength Modifier. This slam attack has a reach of 2 Squares.

Statistics listed below are for a bare Framework with a bipedal movement system, two arms, and a power supply capable of operating any systems that do not create additional power requirements indefinitely.

Size: Huge
Size Mod: -2
Total Equipment Slots: 11
Slot Location
Helmet: 2
Torso: 1

Appendage: 4 ( limit 2 per appendage )
Locomotive: 2
Structural Hit Points: 120
Base Speed: 8 Squares
Base Cost: 11,000Cr
Locomotive System: Bipedal
Appendages: Two
Availability: Restricted
Special: A Huge Frameworks' cockpit must occupy two of the available Helmet, Torso, Back, or Appendage equipment slots. A cockpit using Appendage equipment slots replaces that Appendage.
