Integrated Equipment

Adjusting a set of armor to use the Integrated Equipment upgrade allows for the attachment of a piece of equipment three or more sizes smaller than the armor itself. For example, a Medium Sized character can mount a piece of equipment up to Diminutive Size ( such as electrobinoculars, a glow rod, or medpac ) or a weapon up to Small Size ( such as a Light Laser, Basic Model Pistol, or a Knife ). Integrated equipment does not need to be drawn or readied before it can be used. Armor that has been set up to take advantage of integrated equipment can easily be adapted to used different devices as built-in accessories. Changing out equipped items can be done with a DC10 Mechanics Check, but the equipment must be purchased separately.
