The colonized moons of Jupiter are home to some of the most enduring people in the galaxy. Their homeland is inhospitable, harsh, and were it not for the valuable strategic or resourceful positions of most of them they would likely be utterly devoid of human life at all.

Io
Io's surface

Many of Jupiter's moons are largely overseen by the Red Army, making most of them home to military bases or foundries for Russian ships, vehicles, and equipment. There are a few that have been independently colonized, and are not under the direct supervision of the HHPP due to the Sustainability Accord of 2446, but the most notable of these moons is Io. Once the interstellar Supermax prison for those deemed war criminals by the United Nations, the HHPP Special Operations Service acquired it when it was no longer viable for the U.N. to maintain the prison base.

Inside Prem'ye Stansii
|
Converted for their uses as a military launching point, it became known as Prem'ye Stansii ( Пpимьe Cтaнции; translated as Prime Station ) for the Strakhznakov branch of the organization. Though knowledge of the HHPP's presence on Io is public record, the exact details of the base-- and its uses as the headquarters for the Strakhznakov especially --are not. Specifics of the base are only known to the Strakhznakov themselves.

Ganymede
A freighter converted into living facilities on Ganymede's surface
|
Like Io, Ganymede is a large and prominent moon that had been colonized by humanity as they began to spread out into the stars. And like many of the moons, despite having been terraformed to an extent to make it survivable, it is far from hospitable. Largely a home to many militia groups and paramilitary-like cults, many look at the moon as though it much like the colonization of Australia by the British in its early days; criminals, thugs, and little more. This is not helped by the signal-blocking interference of the moon's natural magnetosphere that prevents access to the Solmatrix from the moon's surface.
Because of the largely blocked communication with the rest of the solar system, the Ganymedi find themselves living in a frontier like many of the fringe world settlements despite being within the borders of the Sol System, leaving them clinging to what heritage influences they can. Things there can be harsh, culture clash is not uncommon, and settlements often find themselves in the middles of 'clan wars' that can leave many orphaned or involved in a life of crime. Repeated conflicts of this nature, and the criminal element that has grown common as a result lead to the construction of The Slam, one of the few Supermax prison facilities not directly overseen by either the HHPP or United Nations, and was only deemed necessary after the facility on Io was closed.
Special: Because of the separation from Solmatrix, specifying Ganymede as a Homeworld allows the selection of the UN Common (Australian) dialect in place of (Kings) as a Bonus Language, but does not change the HHPP Standard option.
