Often the first choice in equipment for a spiker on the go, they are also popular with Military Commanders, Executives, and Diplomats.

Portable Computer Systems have Intelligence 14, and are considered indifferent ? by default. The owner of a Portable Computer System can improve the security of the device, adjusting its attitude to hostile for other users with a DC10 Use Computer check.

Special: Computers with an integrated comlink can be used to access the local matrix, or an ad hoc network within 30 meters ( 30 squares ). The range can be switched between the two options with a swift action as part of interacting with the device.

Additionally, Personalized Computer Systems can be made to access specialized data systems, such as Holo-State Drives. As they are designed for a specific task, reduce the Base Cost by 50%, but add the [Rare] tag to Availability.
