Miniaturized and improved mechanization is not uncommon, and the technology has of course found its way into weapons manufactures and tech experts. By improving the trigger with an electronic sensor and replacing the firing pin systems and loading mechanisms in ballistic weapons, or improved cooling and charge systems with energy based weaponry, rapid cycle chambers improve the overall firing speed of a weapon. Installing this modification in a weapon ( or including it at purchase ) adds the Autofire option to a weapons Rate of Fire.

Restrictions: Cannot be installed on Autofire Only weapons, or weapons that require specialized munitions such as the Flamethrower or Rocket Launcher.

Special: Heavy Model Pistols with this modification no longer suffer the -1 Equipment Penalty for using the Double Attack, Triple Attack, or Rapid Shot feats. Cannot be installed on weapons that have the Bolt Action modification.
