Shortened Barrel

Shortened barrels are a handy modification used by spies, plain-clothes law enforcement officers, and anyone needing to conceal the fact that they are carrying a weapon. Little more than a replacement barrel shorter than the standard one, this attachment makes concealing a pistol easier.

Weapons with a shortened barrel gain a +5 equipment bonus on attempts to conceal the weapon. However, the shorter barrels tend to not be anywhere near as accurate. Increase the range by one category (for example, from short to medium range).
