Krasnoyi Zvezda, Xavier Darnai, Dmitri Kharkov, Anton Trensky, Alek Negrome, Ivar the Faceless, and "Red Star" are just some of the several aliases all referring to a single skilled and trained operative whose exact fate is unknown. His first appearance of note to any others was as a child attempting to steal the wallet of a decorated Colonel in the People's Red Army. He disappeared with the tragic loss of the U.N.I. Castillian?. He has an affinity for ballistic weaponry, hand to hand combat, interrogation, and seems to have several addictions including alcohol and tobacco. Inception"Krasnoyi Zvezda" is a name that was given to the brash and fearless young man who was recruited by Colonel Nikolai Dostevi?, founder of the HHPP Special Operations Service branch known as the Strakhznakov ( Cтpaxзнaкoв; translated as Dreadmarks ). Little is known about his personal history except to say that he was an orphan who grew up on the toxic streets of London, is capable of handling himself in many adverse situations, and that he has a tenacity for survival that the Colonel deemed unparalleled in his experiences. As there was no guaranteed way to verify his age, Dostevi had to falsify Zvezda's records in order to enlist him into the People's Red Army. His skill in combat and improvisation earned him several operational commendations, and he rose to the rank of Captain during his service. Zvezda's personality was rather amorphous, and outside of his ability to adapt and survive, he learned much of his other skills from the other members of his team; Walthers?, Kresnikov?, Ivars?, and Einlenssen?. During the early days of the Strakhznakov organization, the unit was tasked with tracking down a rogue cell of terrorists that seemed bent on disrupting the stability of the HHPP in Europe. Having infiltrated the group, he grew close to Adena Terranova?, a Spanish agent who was responsible for many of the more successful operations the nameless group were responsible for. While it was determined that she was not the leader, and the group would survive without her involvement, she was labeled a high priority target and a Black Line was ordered. Though he understood the reasoning behind the order, he was incapable of completing the task, allowing her to escape. As a countermeasure, he eliminated several other high priority targets with extreme prejudice, ensuring that the cell would be crippled for the foreseeable future. Years later, as a Captain of his Strakhznakov unit, the elimination of an American Ambassador? who was using his influence and sway was called for. Zvezda arrived at his suite only to witness him shot by Adena?, who had become the Ambassador's wife. Immediately she saw her opportunity to frame the Operative for his murder, and he was subdued by United Nations Sec-Court guards with her assistance. He said nothing during his arrest, interrogations, the subsequent trial, nor psychological profiling interviews. Designated as a category 6 threat to United Nations security upon arrival at the Eastern State Penitentiary on 23 February, 2469, he was assigned prisoner number KZ-2464-232, and submitted for genetic neutralization sequencing as a condition for serving out his life sentence on Io. After the exceptionally painful treatment, he was prepared for transfer on 7 November, 2469. Placed into a suspension sleep chamber, he was loaded aboard the UNI Castillian?, but when the ship's Snapblade Drive was activated it malfunctioned and the ship disappeared.
