Under-Barrel Flame Projector

Uncommon but highly effective, the Firestorm by Strong Arms Unlimited is a small, under-barrel flame projector designed to give an infantryman extra punch at short range. Illegal on many worlds and classified as a terror weapon, these weapons are typically used by only the most desperate or callous individuals.

It adds 5kg in extra weight to the weapon its mounted to, however, which makes the entire assembly quite barrel-heavy and cumbersome, applying a -1 modifier to attack rolls made with the weapon (either the regular weapon itself, or the flame projector). Use of the Under-Barrel Flame Projector is otherwise identical to the Flamethrower (Core, p128).
