Zhizkred Serial

Early in the days of the HHPP, the directive to ensure the well being of all their citizens was made a clear priority, and the Zhizkred administrative system was the result. A compound term from the words Жизнь ( Zhizn'; romanized, or "Living" ) and Кредит ( Kredit; romanzied, or "Credit" ), all registered citizens of the New People's Republic of Russia are issued a Zhizkred Serial.

Zhizkred Serials are tied to an individual's biorhythm, making it an incredibly secure system, however it does have restrictions on its use; it can be used anywhere standardized banking exists in the Local Spur, but only provides a level of sustenance based on the grading of the credit line.

• Red Zhizkred Accounts provide Basic Condition sustenance, shelter, and health care ( medical services are only covered for free in HHPP territories ) as a benefit of their citizenship and are issued to all HHPP citizens.
• Platinum Zhizkred Accounts provide Luxury Condition dining & lodging, and basic medical services. They are issued only to allies of the HHPP such as UN Dignitaries, or HHPP officials that are often in a position of having to entertain VIP guests

Zhizkred Serials also function as highly secured Credit Chips; they are considered storage devices with a hostile attitude? and Intelligence 14, with a Will Defense of 20. Once a Zhizkred Serial is 'friendly', it can be used to withdraw funds from the account the chip is linked to. Failing to improve the attitude of the Zhizkred Serial with a Use Computer check that fails by 5 or more causes the security protocol of the chip to lock down the account and invalidate the chip being used.

Attempting to program a fraudulent Zhizkred Serial is highly illegal and nearly impossible. Central banking systems have highly secured computers with a Will Defense of 35 that start at a hostile state; further, the check attempt is done in secret, and you will not know if you are successful until you attempt to use the falsified Credit Chip. If you fail, the government or bank computer is notified and will immediately invalidate the Credit Chip. If you failed the forgery attempt by 5 or more, local authorities will be dispatched immediately in an attempt to arrest you after its use.

Without access to a Zhizkred Serial, a character is required to carry hard currency, which is unsecured and cannot be traced. Characters with a Zhizkred Serial can also acquire hard currency at a number of banking locations across the Local Spur.
